I started writing this blog when there was a chill in the air and I was already thinking about which winter coat to invest in. Since then Summer has returned and my new Karen Millen coat has been put back in the cupboard. Still, as London Fashion week has come to a close I would like to share with you some hot coats for AW11. The key is tailored shapes and fastenings, the more buttons the better. On my wish list was a military style skirted woolen coat (I took inspiration from Alexander Mcqueen’s coats as I drooled over his collection). Jewel colours are big this season but you also can’t beat “the little black coat” with colourful accessories. This is the coat I have leaned more towards.
